This isn’t the same as a Toyota Camry, but the Microsoft Sync technology does make it very appealing. For a simple commuter car that doesn’t do too bad on miles-per-gallon, this may be the next best thing – I need to drive this myself to get a better sense of it… And 30+ miles to the gallon is a big bonus.

The Toyota Camry won the VOD because it’s the car I used to have, until it was totaled a couple years ago and I’ve had a hard time coming up with a vehicle to replace it with.
IMO, the Camry was – and still is – the ultimate vehicle for me.
C’mon people – wake up! It’s not just about the cost at the pump!
Oh, and just in case you really have been asleep for the last 2 decades – it’s the year 2009. The gasoline engines built today are much better in fuel mileage and horsepower – some argue they’re better than the older diesel counterparts.
Go educate yourself. If you drive a truck or need to haul big loads, maybe diesel is the right thing for you. Do some research and know before you blow your money.

I’ve had all I can take so I’m venting this right here, right now: People who are texting while driving should get a heafty ticket where half of that money is donated to a local charity where you live to educate kids and teenagers about such dangers.
They are already doing this with the D.A.R.E. (anti-drug) program, why can’t we do this with texting and driving?
Do we really need to have stiffer laws?
Maybe we should send Mikey to break your left thumb if you’re caught subsequent times?
Nationwide Insurance released a survey that showed a large public support for banning this sort of thing – we’re talking 8 in 10 Americans want to ban texting while driving!
Listen people – I commute to work just like the other millions of people in this country. And while I may have my own distraction (listening to the radio), I don’t like having to cross 3 lanes of traffic just to avoid your 2-ton-killing killing machine that is violating my lane of traffic while you’ve got your head down pounding your thumbs on your damn cell phone. ENOUGH!
The next time I see one of you people try to run me off the road, I’m taking a public photo and posting it to my blog so everyone can see just how dangerous YOU really are.
Is it against the law to take such a photo? I’m not an attorney, but as I have come to understand the law in America, it is legal to take photographs in public places. This includes streets, sidewalks and public parks. However, you cannot obstruct other passersby. Furthermore, your vehicle is visible in a public place and photographs can be taken for this editorial usage – they are not being sold for profit.

Seriously people – I have had a personal family tragedy with this recklessness. This is completly preventable – I would never wish this sorrow or pain on anyone, ever.
