Since when did I become a convert? Did I switch to the dark side?
The truth is, in my line of work, I have never left using Windows – I have simply seen the light and use a Mac for 90% of my own work on my own time but still use Windows at my day job.
Windows 7 does support both 32-bit and 64-bit PC hardware, if you have the choice please jump to 64-bit – you will thank me later for the killer speed improvement you’ll receive.
Forget everything you’ve ever heard about windows being horrible – Windows 7 is actually pretty decent and should be your next upgrade (if you have a newer computer). In fact, if you do own a newer computer I would suggest that you simply download the new Microsoft operating system and forgo getting a DVD – make your own and save $30.
