Error: Microsoft Office is frequently crashing. Ya don’t say?

office-frequently-crashingWhy in the world do I have a message box telling me Microsoft Office is frequently crashing?

Duh!

I know this already, I live through it, I do backup my data frequently because of it.

Is it really that hard to just build a stable piece of software so this message could be avoided in the first place?  Or perhaps Microsoft has now become politically correct and doesn’t want to hurt my “feelings” and give me a “nice polite message” so I feel good about the constant crashing.

It just stinks.

I’m ready to give up on office 2007 and go back to office 2003.  I don’t need these fancy ribbon features or the extra overhead it takes to run it.
