So I'm about one week into owning the Mac Mini. Overall I have to say it's a good machine. I connected it to a 32" LCD TV. Only problem is that if you're going to connect a computer to a TV, buy a 1080 pixel TV vs. the 720 pixel TV I'm using. Your web-browsing, document-writing experience will be improved.

Completely agree with your comments that the machine needs an actual HDMI out. It's ridiculous that I had to purchase a mini-DVI to HDMI connector from monoprice.com to connect this machine to my TV. PLUS, I still had to fish separate audio cable through my wall and plug it into my TV using RCA connectors. So digital out to analog in. Stupid design.

But the rest of the machine works well. Multi-tasking is easy and it can handle simultaneous iTune listening, web browsing, DVD playing and document working without coughing like a swine flu sufferer. Pretty slick.
